Programs
This Intermediate Pickleball drop-in class is designed for players who have solid fundamentals and are ready for more consistent, strategic play. Being able to improve on strategy means that serving / staying as well as returning / running is NEVER an issue. Those are advanced beginner level concepts.
Players should be able to sustain rallies of 8+ shots, demonstrate reliable serves and returns, and consistently execute forehands, backhands, volleys, and dinks with some control. Participants are expected to understand and apply simple strategy, including working on shot selection, court positioning, and transitioning to the kitchen line as a team. This means that players are aware of the third shot drop, third shot drive, and actively implementing them along with basic strategy.
If you are actively participating in 3.0+ tournaments and winning some games, you are automatically welcome to join this class.
To maintain the quality and pace of this class for drilling and active play, players who do not meet Intermediate standards will be asked to move to Advanced Beginner.
If you are unsure of your level, we strongly recommend starting in the Advanced Beginner class to ensure the best experience. You are welcome to ask the instructors to review you to see if you are ready to join the Intermediate session
